How: Aratder collect the raw fish directly from the fisher man of Sonadia Island, bring the raw fish by traler at Moheshkhali.

From Where: We get raw fish from Sonadia Island, Moheshkhali, Cox's Bazar.

Time Seasons: October to March.

Speciality: 100% organic, Chemical free. Most of the people like Rup chada Dry Fish. It is very tasty.

Food Nutrition: It is a source of high Quality Protein. This Dried fish is also a source of Potassium, Vitamin and other minerls.

Most of the fishes we get from Sonadia Island. In the Pick season Aratdars go to Sonadia Island and stay there at about 3 to 6 months. They prepare Shade, small hut, bamboo fence, make some shape to hang fish for drying. in this season (October to March)they don't use any chemical or salt. They dry all fishes without any chemical only under the sun light, so they need sunny Day. After the seasson they use chemical or salt for preservation other 6 months. Those people who have no sufficiant money they bring small quantity of raw fish in Moheshkhali and dry those at theit courtyard, beside their house. They sell it in the local market and also eat at home with family members.
